Our Mobile Veterinary Team

Dr. Natalie Cochrane and Christy Cullipher provide routine veterinary services for equine and farm animal species and emergency services for regular clients.

Originally from Raleigh, NC, Dr. Cochrane received her veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College in London, England. She then completed an internship in Ambulatory Practice at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and a residency at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine achieving Board Certification in Large Animal Internal Medicine. Afterwards, she served on the faculty of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in both the Farm Animal Medicine and Reproductive Services and Equine Medicine departments. Dr. Cochrane has given lectures in animal handling, parasite control, ruminant  medicine and neurologic diseases, neonatal care, camelid medicine and bovine surgery. After many years away from her home state, Dr. Cochrane returned to North Carolina to work in private practice in 2008.

In 2015, Dr. Cochrane completed certification in Equine Veterinary Medical Manipulation at the Integrative Veterinary Medical Institute. EVMM is similar to chiropractic in human medicine and is beneficial to equine athletes of all disciplines.

Christy Cullipher is also a North Carolina native and is an accomplished rider and horse trainer with a lifetime of equine experience. A proficient veterinary assistant, Christy is adept at caring for and handling multiple veterinary patient species. She is a compassionate and knowledgeable caregiver and an invaluable member of this practice.
